How do I make an order?
Just click on the product or collection of your choice, click the 'ADD TO CART' button to add it to your cart and this will show up in the right hand corner of the website.
- Click 'checkout' in the cart to start the process of payment selection.
- You can now leave special instructions or change the quantity you need, or add any discount codes or gift cards in the cart, before proceeding.
- Next click 'CHECKOUT' to be taken to the payment page.
- Enter your personal details and delivery address and choose a shipping option.
- Finally Choose a Payment Option then push "Complete Order." You will be notified via email with an attached pdf receipt.
How do I pay for my order? Is it safe to use my credit card?
When you checkout you are directed to Shopify secure payment gateway where you can enter your credit card or payment details safely.
What payment options do you offer?
The Hive in Pirongia accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:
- All major credit cards, as shown at checkout including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Union Pay & Shop Pay
- Afterpay
Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout, unless otherwise stated.

- Standard 0.11kg - 0.29kg - $7.00
- Standard 0.3kg - 0.39kg - $9.00
- Standard 0.4kg - 5kg - $15.00
NZ Rural
- Rural 0.01kg - 0.1kg - $11.30
- Rural 0.11kg - 0.29kg - $12.50
- Rural 0.3kg - 0.39kg - $14.50
- Rural 0.4kg - 5kg - $20.50
Rest of World
- Smaller Items: 0.01kg - 0.2kg - $16.00
- Standard - $28.00
Do you accept returns?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at thehive.pirongia@gmail.com or on our contact page. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our NZ Auckland address, which will be provided once your return has been accepted. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Unfortunately we do not offer Free Returns, you will need to pay to return your order to us.
How can I track my order?
Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase, follow its preparation, and see shipping updates in the My Account area.
